Overview:

Municipal water networks face constant challenges in detecting leaks, mapping infrastructure, and testing meters efficiently. Attendees will gain practical knowledge and hands-on insights on using advanced tools and innovative solutions to:

• Detect leaks quickly to minimize water loss and NRW
• Map underground water infrastructure accurately for better management
• Test and check water meters to ensure reliability and operational efficiency
• Apply practical strategies to optimize daily operations and system performance

 

At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:

• • Identify and locate water leaks effectively
  • Utilize pipe and utility mapping tools for improved decision-making
  • Conduct essential water meter tests and assessments
  • Optimize operational efficiency and resource management

 

Facilitator : Elham Malzoomati

Logistics:
These 1-hour virtual sessions are offered every alternate Thursday starting at 2:00 pm.  Sessions are complimentary to all OMWA members and the fee for non-members is $30.00 CAD plus HST per person per session.
