Overview:
Municipal water networks face constant challenges in detecting leaks, mapping infrastructure, and testing meters efficiently. Attendees will gain practical knowledge and hands-on insights on using advanced tools and innovative solutions to:
- Detect leaks quickly to minimize water loss and NRW
- Map underground water infrastructure accurately for better management
- Test and check water meters to ensure reliability and operational efficiency
- Apply practical strategies to optimize daily operations and system performance
At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Utilize pipe and utility mapping tools for improved decision-making
- Conduct essential water meter tests and assessments
- Optimize operational efficiency and resource management

Logistics:
These 1-hour virtual sessions are offered every alternate Thursday starting at 2:00 pm. Sessions are complimentary to all OMWA members and the fee for non-members is $30.00 CAD plus HST per person per session.
