Overview:

This training session is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to optimize the selection, operation, and maintenance of valves in water and wastewater processes. As the only Canadian manufacturer capable of providing the full range of AWWA valves, we will cover cutting-edge technologies, practical applications, and best practices that improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance system performance  This comprehensive training not only enhances operational knowledge but also provides hands-on insights into how the right valve choices and maintenance practices can lead to significant cost savings and process efficiency.

At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:

                          • Implement effective maintenance routines to avoid costly failures.
                          • Select the appropriate valves for different stages of water and wastewater treatment.
                          • Troubleshoot and resolve common operational challenges.

Facilitator: Michael Bissauge

Our facilitator is Michael Bissauge of VAHN-Tech International Inc.  Michael is a seasoned professional in the industrial manufacturing sector, specializing in valve technology and water management systems. With years of experience, he has been pivotal in implementing innovative solutions for complex infrastructure projects. Michael is recognized for his leadership and commitment to advancing sustainable engineering practices and he currently sits on the AWWA committee.

 

 

 

Logistics:
These 1-hour virtual sessions are offered every alternate Thursday starting at 2:00 pm.  Sessions are complimentary to all OMWA members and the fee for non-members is $30.00 CAD plus HST per person per session.
