The best way to ensure assets are protected long-term is through the regular and consistent inspection of coatings using third-party inspectors. Join us as we walk you through the value of hiring a coating inspector.
At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:
- The value of hiring a coating inspector
- What the coating inspector (TCI) does
- Safety procedures
- Technologies used
Scott Menzies
Our workshop facilitator is Scott Menzies, President/CEO, at The Coating Inspector, a NACE Certified Coating Inspection firm delivering comprehensive services to industrial and commercial customers across Canada. Scott worked in the industry as a Sandblaster, Painter, Supervisor, Project Manager, and NACE Certified Coating Inspector. He is an active member of the community and acts as a champion for mental health and suicide awareness. Since starting the business in 2014, The Coating Inspector has become a national industry leader in coating inspection and corrosion prevention services.

The OMWA is pleased to offer our valued members complimentary 1 hour virtual On The Job Training (OJT) sessions Thursday afternoon starting at 2:00pm. The fee for non-members is $30 plus HST per person per session.
