Overview:

Copper Tracer wire has been helping to save lives and locate underground utilities for decades. Like everything, technology has enabled us to provide a new and improved tracer wire with Copper Clad Steel. Not only will CCS wire perform equal to copper tracer wire, it also is less expensive, has no theft value, and has better tensile strength options benefiting all types of pipeline installation methods.

At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:

            • The differences between Copper and Copper Clad Steel Tracer Wire
            • How to clear up misinformation regarding CCS wire
            • Learn the different applications for each type of CCS wire (High Flex, High Strength and HDD)
            • What are the different accessories available to complete a tracer wire system
            • Material cost reductions and lower cost of ownership throughout service life.
