Session #9 – Why Forever Can’t Last – Ways to Safely Remove PFAS from Water

REGISTER TODAY!

Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation email within 12 hours containing instructions for how to join the webinar.

Overview:

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) can be found everywhere and regulations globally are on the rise. This common “chemical of convenience” is used to enhance every-day products and has been detected in places as far away as the North Pole. While PFAS may be considered a “forever” chemical there are ways to safely remove it from water. In this webinar we will explore and compare the two commonly accepted solutions for PFAS removal; factors to be aware of when selecting a solution; and how to leverage a piloting program to validate the expected performance as well as looking at the total cost of ownership.

At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:

                            • PFAS background and global impact of the “forever” chemical
                            • Basic understanding of PFAS removal process
                            • Differences between current PFAS removal solutions
                            • Steps to select a PFAS removal solution
                            • Leverage a pilot program for evaluating the total cost of ownership
