Overview:
Intelligent technology produces efficient workflows when applied in the correct ways. As technology advances so rapidly, so is the world of underwater capabilities. Let’s look at the latest underwater robotic technology and think outside the square on just how, when, why and who can make use of such tools in underwater environments from tanks and reservoirs to lakes and lagoons and everything in between.
At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:
-
-
-
-
-
-
- Recognize the meaning of ROV & USV.
- The difference between portable mini ROV and traditional power supplied ROV.
- The main benefits of ROV vs human occupancy in confined spaces.
- The key features every ROV should have.
- Understand USV capabilities in environmental monitoring.
