FREE to members.
Fee for non-members $30+HST.

It’s important to consider life cycle costs – including planned and unexpected maintenance as well as future growth – when choosing a water storage solution. The initial planning stage is the best time to gather input from experienced parties (experts and suppliers) and factual experience from actual industry data. The second-best time is when you are faced with mounting repair costs on a water storage asset. Understanding key benefits and pitfalls of common water storage solutions can help you make the best-informed decision for today and the future.

At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:

                    • An understanding of what to consider when choosing a water storage solution.
                    • An understanding of what to consider when creating a long-term Asset Management Plan.
                    • How to calculate Lifecycle Costing of various water storage solutions.
                    • How considering Lifecycle Costing early in a project can help you avoid costly mistakes later.
                    • Identify differences in water storage tank types to understand why some technologies are better than others for certain applications.

    Jeff Rodger

Our facilitator is Jeff Rodger, Sales Manager at Greatario.  Jeff brings nearly 20 years’ experience selling glass-fused-to-steel water storage tanks in Canada. He is well versed in the water and wastewater storage requirements for both municipal and industrial markets and understands how early planning can benefit the process of building and maintaining water storage tanks.

These 1-hour virtual sessions are offered every alternate Thursday starting at 2:00 pm.  Sessions are complimentary to all OMWA members and the fee for non-members is $30.00 CAD plus HST per person per session.

If you have any specific questions regarding this OJT session, please feel free to submit them when you register and we will provide them to the workshop facilitator.

The OMWA will provide a certificate recognizing participation in these On the Job Training sessions.
Attendance may also qualify as a Continuing Knowledge Activity for the PEO PEAK program
