Overview:
Most utilities are experiencing higher water main failure and water loss with aging infrastructure. How do you stop responding to failure and start planning for failure? What if you could utilize IoT devices and data analytics in everyday operation and planning? What if water loss reduction is no longer simply a response but an outcome of daily operation? What would this proactive approach look like? This session will provide an overview of AWWA M36 manual’s four pronged approach to water loss reduction through present day technology.
At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:

Our facilitator is Andrew Bisso, Area Manager for Mueller Water Products overseeing the technology profile. Andrew has over 10 years of experience in the water industry, working with over 50 utilities in North America, Europe and South East Asia. Andrew’s passion is to showcase the power of IoT, data and analytics in the water sector.

These 1-hour virtual sessions are offered every alternate Thursday starting at 2:00 pm. Sessions are complimentary to all OMWA members and the fee for non-members is $30.00 CAD plus HST per person per session.Questions:
