Overview:
Whether it’s ever-increasing demand, aging infrastructure, a retiring workforce, climate change – or perhaps all of the above – water utilities today are faced with more challenges than ever before. Sure, new problems call for new solutions – but how do we find the time or resources needed to evaluate and integrate these answers – such as smart water tech – into our workflow? What if, instead of having to dive headfirst into new technologies, we could get started with what’s already available to us? Let’s talk about some easier ways to get started with smart water management.
At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:
-
-
-
-
-
-
- How to build a sustainable pathway for adoption of smart water tech and smart water management practices
- Define and differentiate between smart water technology and smart water management
- How to use existing resources/data to get started with smart water management
- How to critically evaluate smart water tech claims and determine if a given smart water technology is the right fit
