But software selection and implementation can also be a challenging journey for municipalities in 2025. Security concerns and legislative requirements are constantly changing. AI seems to be everywhere. What’s going on? It’s hard to keep up.
We want you to win the benefits of great software for your water operations and help you through the challenges along the way. Let’s cut the jargon and talk plainly about everything from cybersecurity to the nuts-and-bolts of cost and support. Facilitator : Matthew Sieber

Our facilitator is Matthew Seiber, VP of Product Technology at Flowpoint Environmental Systems LP, where he leads a talented team of software engineers building the next generation of Flowpoint software. Matthew has over 25 years in technology leadership, and has launched successful software products for municipal clients, dotcom startups, Fortune 500 companies, and national nonprofit organizations. Originally from Peterborough, ON and a graduate of Trent University, Matthew has since lived and worked across Canada and the US. He currently resides in chilly Edmonton, AB with his wife, three kids, two cats, and a heavy winter coat.
Logistics:
These 1-hour virtual sessions are offered every alternate Thursday starting at 2:00 pm. Sessions are complimentary to all OMWA members and the fee for non-members is $30.00 CAD plus HST per person per session.
