Overview of OTJ Session #6:
Learn more about how recent designs in pipe repair solutions can make routine, unique or even difficult pipe repairs much quicker and easier in the field. Selecting the right solution for your situation and using recommended installation techniques will help to ensure your pipe repairs are completed effectively and be long-lasting.
At the completion of this one-hour OJT session, participants will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Overview of current pipe repair product offerings
- Proper selection of pipe repair solutions
- Advantages of two bolt coupling repair solutions
- Recommended installation practices to maximize effectiveness of repairs
- New pipe repair products now available
Ed Nunes
Our workshop facilitator Ed Nunes is the Head of Product Management for HYMAX (A Mueller Brand) and has been with HYMAX for 5 years in which he has led the development and launch of several new products. He has over 20 years’ experience in water, solar and semiconductor industries and has attained a Master Science in Engineering Management and a Bachelors’ Mechanical Engineering for the University of South Florida in Tampa.

OMWA is pleased to offer any & all staff from our valued OMWA municipal / utility members complimentary virtual On the Job Training through our OMWA online platform. These 1 hour sessions run every other Thursday starting at 2:00 p.m for the balance of 2020! The fee for non-members is $30 plus HST per person per session
