Water Wastewater Operations Supervisor

The City of Port Colborne is seeking an experienced and motivated individual with analytical, organizational, planning and leadership skills. The Water and Wastewater Operations Supervisor is responsible for the management, supervision of all City owned water distribution, wastewater collection systems, storm and groundwater pumping stations infrastructure operations, maintenance. Designated as Overall Responsible Operator (ORO) for water and wastewater subsystems and certified in accordance with provincial government standards. The ideal candidate will have five (5) years’ experience in operation and maintenance of water distribution, wastewater collection and storm sewer systems with 2 years in a supervisory capacity in a unionized environment. Minimum Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Class 1 Ontario Water Distribution Operator and Class 1 Ontario Wastewater Collection System Operator License is required. Trenching and Shoring Awareness and a valid Class G Ontario Driver’s License.

 

The salary range for this position is $82,950.40 – $97,032.00. The City also offers a competitive benefit and pension package.
