As part of our ‘One Town, One Team’ approach, InnServices Utilities Inc. is the exciting and progressive company created by the Town of Innisfil to deliver water and wastewater services to Innisfil and other municipalities. InnServices owns and operates two water pollution control plants, one surface water treatment plant, municipal wells, and the associated collection and distribution systems.
As a member of our cross-functional and engaging team, you will work in an environment that focuses on service excellence and environmental stewardship. You will be part of the team responsible for the general operation and maintenance of the Water Treatment sites and Distribution Systems and metering, as well as ensuring compliance with Provincial Legislation and Town policies for the protection of public health and safety. With a focus on team and customer relationships, you will also build/maintain relationships with InnServices, Town of Innisfil and associated organizations and respond to resident inquires.
We are seeking a dedicated and goal-oriented team player who thrives working in a collaborative environment, understands the merits of high safety standards, and a strong sense of community. Your community college diploma in a related field such as Civil Engineering, Water, Wastewater or Environmental Studies, or equivalent related experience is required and is complimented by a minimum of five years of demonstrated work experience in water distribution and water treatment, and strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite, SCADA, GIS mapping and programmable logic controls. MECP Class I Certification in Water Treatment and MECP Class I Water Distribution and Supply Subsystem are all required, and a water meter’s installer’s license or equivalent plumber’s license is preferred. A Valid Class G driver’s license is required, as is mandatory participation in overtime and on-call after hours, weekend work and statutory holidays as required.
