Addressing the (Plastic) Elephant in the Room: Leak Detection in PVC and Mixed-Material Networks
Overview:
Who Should Attend:
This webinar will be of interest to anybody in your municipality who deals with the problems of leak detection and non-revenue water in PVC and/or mixed-material water distribution networks, as well as those who are looking to gain a better understanding of the strengths and limitations of current leak detection technologies.
Overview:
Finding a means to reliably and efficiently detect leaks in PVC and mixed-material networks is a growing challenge for many utilities. With so many different technologies and approaches available, it becomes difficult for both decision makers and operators to understand what works and what doesn’t.
Join us as we first discuss the state-of-the art in leak detection to break down the key strengths and limitations of each method. Afterwards, we will look at case studies from several water utilities and municipalities and how they have constructed successful programs for leak detection in PVC and mixed-material networks.
