Senior Project Manager – Water & Wastewater Planning

Join the Hamilton Water leadership team in Hamilton, ON.

We have one temporary full-time position (up to 24 months) for a Professional Engineer, Certified Engineering Technologist or similarly qualified professional with proven knowledge of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure planning and engineering.

As a Senior Project Manager in Water and Wastewater Planning, you will provide leadership to staff within a Business Unit, facilitating a team environment focused on providing operation and optimization of existing systems support, long-range planning and engineering expertise for the City's water and wastewater systems, plants and outstations. It will be your responsibility to ensure that infrastructure systems design activities are delivered in a cost-effective, efficient and timely manner by applying Project Management methodologies in a Quality Management System (QMS) environment.

In this role, you will be part of the City's Light Rail Transit (LRT) Water/Wastewater Infrastructure project, with a particular focus on reviewing and approving water and wastewater infrastructure conceptual  designs, and capacities within the LRT corridor and within the adjacent connected networks of upstream and downstream pipes and sewers. You will also provide support for other sectional initiatives related to Water/Wastewater Infrastructure Planning.

Your qualifications as a Senior Project Manager – Water & Wastewater Planning include:

NOTE: Must possess and maintain a Class "G" Driver's Licence valid in the Province of Ontario and a point-free driving record and/or a record found to be satisfactory to the City of Hamilton.

This position offers a wage range of $52.037 to $60.863 per hour (based on a 35-hour work week schedule).
